Rosie O’Donnell said in a statement on her website on Tuesday that her 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea, has gone missing.
Chelsea was last seen Tuesday, Aug. 11, and was wearing a black sweatshirt hoodie, dark ripped blue jeans, women’s gray Converse sneakers, and a black backpack, according to the statement.
She reportedly left home with Bear, her six-month-old therapy dog, a black and brown terrier. New York police authorities began looking for her Sunday, according to the statement.
“Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention,” the statement on O’Donnell’s website said.
O’Donnell took to Twitter as well to share the news.

O’Donnell was in the headlines recently after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made fun of her during the first GOP debate on Aug. 6.
At the debate, Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked Trump about the way he referred to some women over the years.
“You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals. Your Twitter account, —“ Kelly said, before being cut off by Trump.
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” he said, to applause and laughter from the audience.
O’Donnell responded to Trump’s swipe at her on social media.
