After reports that Republican frontrunner Donald Trump would score another Super Tuesday win with an endorsement from Florida Gov. Rick Scott, a spokesperson for the governor said Scott wasn’t endorsing.
Trump hosted an evening news conference at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida as Super Tuesday results continued to roll in, which CBS’ Major Garrett and Fox News’ Bret Baier both reported would involve an endorsement from Scott.
But a spokesperson for the governor told an Associated Press reporter “he’s not endorsing” and Scott’s press secretary told an MSNBC producer that Scott was in Tallahassee.
During the press conference, Trump said he didn’t know about any endorsement from Scott.
“I have a lot of respect for Rick Scott. I don’t know about his endorsement, but he’s a friend of mine and I have a lot of respect for him,” Trump
Scott said earlier Tuesday that he wasn’t sure he would endorse anyone in the presidential race and told the Tampa Bay Times he hadn’t made a decision about a possible endorsement.
Crap. Governor “He Who Must Not Be Named” will show Trump how to make horcruxes and we’ll never get rid of him.
Aw, don’t do that, Voldemort! That might discourage poor Marco Ruboto and make him quit. I’ve missed dumping on Jeb, and I’ll miss dumping on Rubio.
Makes sense that one fraudster would endorse another.
Beat me to it.
