Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) 2016 campaign bashed Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s (R) over his jab that the Kentucky senator is unfit to be commander-in-chief.
Doug Stafford, a top adviser for Paul, issued a statement that began, “It’s ironic Gov Jindal would level such a charge when he flip-flops on crucial issues like common core and national security, and he has cratered his own state’s economy and budget.”
That response came after Jindal attacked Paul for saying on MSNBC Wednesday morning that ISIS exists because of hawks within the Republican Party.
“ISIS exists and grew stronger because of the hawks in our party who gave arms indiscriminately, and most [of] these arms were snatched up by ISIS,” Paul said.
Jindal wrote in a statement that the comment showed Paul shouldn’t be commander-in-chief. Jindal hasn’t formally announced his candidacy for president but he’s created a presidential exploratory committee.

Just last week, Gov. Jindal spoke out in support of Sen. Paul and announced he now opposes the NSA’s illegal and unnecessary domestic bulk data collection, after previously cheerleading for it. As we have seen for the past few weeks, Senator Paul is the only Republican running it seems who is willing to learn from our mistakes in the Middle East in order to keep us safer and stronger. The American people are looking for a candidate who can express a coherent viewpoint, something Gov. Jindal and many other candidates have been unable to do thus far.

Such mature males. They shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office or the pretty red phone.
The only thing missing from that statement is the “Bitch, please” at the beginning. I do love that when Jindal changes his mind, it’s flip flopping. Two sentences later when Paul does it, he’s learning from his mistakes. Who’s going to throw wine in their opponent’s face first in this little cat fight?
It’s amazing how Rand Paul (and his father) can be so right about foreign policy and so wrong about domestic policy.
