Rep. Pete King (R-NY) tried to one-up former Speaker of the House John Boehner calling Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) “Lucifer in the flesh” in a Thursday afternoon interview.
“I fully agree with John Boehner,” King said on CNN. “Maybe he gives Lucifer a bad name by comparing him to Ted Cruz.”
The congressman went on to say Cruz’s leading role in forcing the government shutdown when there was only a “vague promise” of getting Obamacare removed from the federal budget amounted to “fraud.”
In a Wednesday night event, Boehner spoke openly of his disdain for Cruz, calling the most “miserable son of a bitch” he ever worked with.

Ick, agreeing with Boehner and King, even if it is on how comparing Cruz to the Devil is an insult to the Devil, makes me feel unclean.
Ah, but you haven’t had to work with Donald Trump yet. Get ready to weep some more, and to lower that bar…
Shots fired!
UntrusTed spent all of his time in DC making enemies of his own party, and NOW, those enemies are getting some payback…
So, Bohner and King are talking about someone who just beat out nine governors, three senators, a brain surgeon and a Fortune 100 CEO to be second in the race for gop’s presidential nomination.
This is the second best candidate gop has of that D E E P bench…
How bad could the other 15 be if this one is second best?
What’s lower than “gives Lucifer a bad name?”
