Notorious anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller claimed Wednesday that Hillary Clinton is hell-bent on shutting down conservative news site Breitbart, enforcing “the Sharia” in the process.

Right Wing Watch flagged Geller’s interview with St. Louis radio host Jamie Allman, in which Geller began by going on a tear about Secretary of State John Kerry’s comments on terrorism earlier this week in Bangladesh, where he said “perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.”

“The media is already scrubbing and censoring and whitewashing jihad and Islamic terror from their reportage,” Geller said. “Their default narrative now is mental illness.”

She went on to describe recent terror attacks, segueing into a discussion of what she claimed was a fundraising email from Clinton that said the Democratic nominee planned to “shut down” Breitbart News.

“This is the Sharia, this is the totalitarianism, this is very frightening,” Geller, who writes for Breitbart, said of the email. “And what’s even more frightening is the media is not talking about because they’re marching in locked step.”

It’s unclear just what email Geller was referencing. Right Wing Watch noted the Clinton campaign sent out a fundraising email on Aug. 18, just after it was announced that Breitbart chairman Stephen Bannon had been brought on to the Trump campaign as its CEO. That email does not mention shutting down the conservative news site. Here is the text of that email via Right Wing Watch:

“Donald Trump just hired Breitbart’s executive director to be his new campaign CEO.

Now, we’ve had a conservative media in this country for a while. I don’t always like what they have to say, but I respect their role and their right to exist.

Breitbart is something different. They make Fox News look like a Democratic Party pamphlet. They’re a different breed altogether — not just conservative but radical, bigoted, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic conspiracy peddlers who never have been and never should be anywhere near the levers of power in this country.

But Donald Trump just gave them a broad new mandate to shape his campaign, his message, the future of the Republican Party, and quite possibly the country.”
