Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney dodged answering Sunday whether he would accept the nomination if elected.
Romney skirted around an answer when asked on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” if he would accept the Republican nomination if elected at the Cleveland convention.
“You know, I can’t imagine anything like that happening,” Romney said. “And I don’t think anyone in our party should say, ‘Oh no, even if the people in the party wanted me to be the president I would say no to it.’ No one’s going to say that.”
