Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney dodged answering Sunday whether he would accept the nomination if elected.
Romney skirted around an answer when asked on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” if he would accept the Republican nomination if elected at the Cleveland convention.
“You know, I can’t imagine anything like that happening,” Romney said. “And I don’t think anyone in our party should say, ‘Oh no, even if the people in the party wanted me to be the president I would say no to it.’ No one’s going to say that.”
Please clap.
Oh pleez sweet Bebbi Jeebus–let the RNC throw the nomination to the Mittster. That would just be perfect.
Romney will seek to gain the nomination in the manner of his days with Bain - He will not earn it - he will strategically maneuver to acquire it.
Right. No one is going to say that.
could be worse… McCain is available as is Caribou Barbie…
you think they’re the worst but it could devolve down to Steve King or Louis Ghomert…
