Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) attempts to remove herself from the problems with the Obamacare rollout and align herself with the fixes to the legislation in the first television ad of her re-election campaign, according to Politico.

The ad features the senator’s measure that would have let people keep their individual marketplace insurance plans canceled under Obamacare, and pins problems with the law on President Obama.

The $250,000 ad buy covers six markets in Louisiana, but will not be running in New Orleans, an area of the state where voters strongly support the President, according to Politico.

While Landrieu was quick to push for a fix to the healthcare law during the botched rollout, she has repeatedly maintained that she still supports the legislation.
