Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough had a strong message for the remaining Republican presidential candidates on Tuesday morning: “Stop withering in the corner or you’re going to end up like Scott Walker.”
Scarborough, who already had harsh words for retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson on Tuesday, urged GOPers to speak out against the bigotry among the party’s frontrunners:
I’ll say it again, presidential candidates. I know you watch this show. When you’re going 90 miles an hour forward, nobody stops you. Stop being cowards. Speak out against this bigotry. Speak out about it now. For every vote you lose today, you’re going to pick up four three or four months from now.

He’s not wrong but Fox and AM radio have helped make & keep their base rabid. I think a sane Repub doesn’t have as much chance to get through the primaries anymore. Purity at all cost.
How can someone be reasonable and yet still appeal to the “America has been torn apart at the seams” with an anti-Christian dictator at the helm crowd?
Joe trying to take the high road? Good one. He knows his audience.
Bigotry is the symptom. The disease is stupidity.
Joe could play Matthew Perry, in “The Matthew Perry Story.”

JoeScar obviously has an imaginary Republican party in his head that bears little resemblance to the xenophobic, rage-addled GOP that exists here in reality.
