Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush denied late Thursday that he called real estate mogul Donald Trump an “asshole” in a conversation with a Republican donor.

Prior to the Fox News presidential primary debate, Politico reported on the alleged, uncensored conversation between Bush and the unidentified donor. The publication cited anonymous sources close to Bush who said the former governor called Trump a “clown,” a “buffoon,” and an “asshole.”

Fox anchor Megyn Kelly asked Bush, who was standing next to Trump on the debate stage, whether that report was true.

“No, it’s not true. But I have said Mr. Trump’s language is divisive,” he responded.

  1. LOL

You’re a fucking timid ass fool asshole punk.

Man up motherfucker and get in the fuckin game.

  2. Tomorrow a JEB! spokesman will say the actual word was worse, but, yeah, he definitely trashed Trump.

This will be followed up on with a JEB! op-ed calling for a ‘return to civility’ in political debate.

The same day, there’ll be an item in POLITICO, sourced anon, about what a deep holy person JEB! is BUT when his goat’s got, such as by Trump, he’s not above invoking classic Americana (‘ccksker’ per the movie Bull Durham, ‘mthrfkckr’ to prove he’s familiar with idiom of the street.).

Needless to say, JEB! himself will, per tradition and in adherence with the format of what has by now become known as The JEB! Cycle, close out the Cycle by denying ever having said anything about anyone, ever.

  3. Yes, but its interesting to note that Trump responded in the closest thing to an impression of a statesman that he did all night. Almost like the whole thing was agreed to before hand…Bush gets an article printed about him that he is tough, yet gets to display that he is above the fray…Trump gets to feel like he was publicly apologized to, and gets to toss out just about his only “moderate” statement. One might even have called it a prepared statement…if one were of that frame of mind.

From the bigger perspective, Trump left Bush alone…and vice versa.

  4. I credit him for being slightly better on his feet than his brother, the Shrub…

    … but he’s still a weaselly, pasty-faced sack of sh*t… IMO
