Jack McCain, Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) son, is not having any of the racist backlash to an Old Navy ad featuring an interracial couple.
The clothing retailer faced backlash over the weekend after featuring a mixed-race family in one of their tweets advertising a sale. McCain, like many other people who are a part of interracial families and relationships, fought back Monday against the Twitter trolls attacking the ad.
His message? “Eat it.”
To the people upset about the #OldNavy “Scandal” of an a picture of a mixed race marriage, eat it. @Reneeitchka pic.twitter.com/yA5YwbZRcm

McCain, a Navy lieutenant and helicopter pilot, is married to Air Force Reserve Capt. Renee Swift, who is black. Mccain followed up with another pointed tweet several minutes later that showed a photo of him and Swift on their wedding day:
I hope this one burns too, you ignorant racists. Here is us on our wedding day. @Reneeitchka pic.twitter.com/1VSd2gqH9W

Swift also took to Twitter to show her support for Old Navy and share a snap of her and McCain.
I was just in @OldNavy this weekend! Bought something for me and my husband. #LoveWins pic.twitter.com/fE5s97yDny

Well GOP, you built that.
This will only fuel the Karl Rove-created rumors about John McCain’s secret black daughter and cause him to lose again.
Even the sons of conservative maverick asshats understand that getting freaked out by interracial families is stupid and racist. This is like when they lost Barry Goldwater.
Beautiful couple…but to the idiots - simply more evidence McCain is a RINO.
Very nicely done. Boehner, your move. Post a pic with that beautiful grand baby and your son in law. Heads wouldn’t explode, they’d evaporate.
