After suspending the account of Glenn Reynolds, the conservative columnist and blogger known as Instapundit, Twitter restored the account on Thursday morning.

The account was suspended after Reynolds tweeted “Run them down” with a link to news about protesters in Charlotte, North Carolina, blocking traffic.

Reynolds said Thursday that he expressed his thoughts on protests blocking cars “perhaps a little too pithily,” but he would not apologize for the tweet.
