Fox News talking head and private jet-owner Sean Hannity went on a Tuesday night tear against his “overpaid friends in the media” while praising Donald Trump’s performance in the first debate.

Hannity slammed critics of Trump’s performance as elitists who he said are out of touch with “the real suffering of real people.”

“Now my overpaid friends in the media, well, they have their chauffeur-driven limousines,” he said. “They like their fine steakhouses and expensive-wine lifestyles. None of them are feeling this.”

According to a 2015 Forbes profile cited by the Washington Post, Hannity earned $29 million in 2015.

He also owns a private jet, which he notably used to fly former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to a meeting with Donald Trump as the GOP nominee vetted vice presidential picks in July.
