Matt Drudge, who runs the conservative site the Drudge Report, on Thursday said that Attorney General Eric Holder is “unleashing the dogs” on critics of President Obama, like former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza.

McDonnell was charged on Tuesday with illegally accepting gifts from political donor and Star Scientific CEO Jonnie Williams.

D’Souza was charged Thursday with violating campaign finance laws by making contributions in the name of others and making false statements.
