Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Wednesday that he listens to a lot of people, their comments go through his brain, and he does what he believes is correct.
CNN’s Don Lemon asked Trump about comments his wife, Melania, made to People magazine.
“He is who he is,” she was quoted by the magazine. “Even if you give him advice, he will maybe take it in, but then he will do it the way he wants to do it. You cannot change a person. Let them be. Let them be the way they are.”
Lemon asked Trump for his thoughts on the remark.
“Well, I think it’s probably true,” Trump said.
“I have my own mind. I do listen to a lot of people, and then it goes through that,” Trump said, motioning to his head. “And I do what I think is right. And I think what she also means is that I’m very open to listening to lot of ideas and a lot of different people.”
Gosh, I´m happy I read this. Hard-hitting questions from the great journalist Don Lemon based on in-depth work first published by People Magazine on the important views of major public figure, Donald Trump´s wife. I feel like I know this great man, and his fascinating family, a bit better than I did before. Thanks TPM!
(I know, I know, it´s all my fault for clicking. But still…)
The Donnie has an independent brain? Well that will NOT go over well with the Tea Party tin foil hat brigade.
But Donald, we don’t appoint kings to rein over us, nor do we install racists or fascists to weld the powers of our Federal Government, on our behalf!
Inevitable successor to Trump:
