Republican Donald Trump’s campaign announced a “speech regarding the election” on Wednesday, sparking speculation that the presumptive nominee would announce his running mate.

Other than the date, a release from the campaign provided scant details about what the speech would be about. Trump said on Twitter his “big speech” actually would be about Democrat Hillary Clinton’s policies:

NBC’s Katy Tur also reported confirmation the event would be his anti-Clinton speech that was delayed due to the mass shooting at an LGBT nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

After news of campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s ouster, New York magazine reported the final nail in Lewandowski’s coffin was his answer when asked about his plan for the future of the campaign. According to that report, Lewandowski responded to a list of grievances from Trump’s children by saying he wanted to leak the news of Trump’s vice presidential pick. Shortly after, he was escorted out of the building by security.
