The culling has begun, with Republican Donald Trump posting tweets Friday afternoon that criticize MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, a former GOP lawmaker who has often been criticized for being too chummy with the billionaire.

Scarborough has been something of a fair-weather friend to the presumptive GOP nominee. While Trump has frequently appeared on “Morning Joe,” Scarborough has aggressively defended the show from charges of favoritism.
Earlier this week, Scarborough said he wouldn’t vote for Trump unless he took back his proposed ban on Muslim immigration.
