Trevor Noah brought Americans back to Africa on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Daily Show” when he compared the antics of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to statesmen on Noah’s home continent.
“I’ve said this before, people,” Noah said. In October, he said Trump “makes me feel at home.” Then Noah played a clip of South Africa President Jacob Zuma claiming immigrants were bringing crime to his country. Remember Trump’s campaign kick-off event?
“The giant ego, the crazy sentiment, the huge and questionable fortune, the extremely causal relationship with the facts, Donald Trump is basically an African dictator. And this jsut confirms it,” Noah said before cutting to a clip of Uganda President Yoweri Museveni.
Museveni is running for his fifth term and, like Trump, is also not attending debates.
“Welcome, America. Welcome to my world,” Noah added.

That is an insult to African dictators!
That’s why the comparisons to Mussolini have always been more apt than the comparison to Hitler. Hitler was OTT in a more sinister way than Mussolini who always came off as a caricature of a preening Italian male.
I think they should have a dummy to take his place and then the won’t be sacred to say what they really think of him.
