Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski early Friday denied the account of a reporter who accused him of strong-arming her after a press conference earlier in the week.

He said he had “never even met” Michelle Fields, the Breitbart News reporter involved.

Lewandowski previously said Fields was an “attention seeker.”

The alleged incident happened after Trump’s press conference in Florida on Wednesday. Fields asked the candidate a question about affirmative action when Lewandowski allegedly forcibly grabbed her arm. Politico published audio of the incident.

Trump told reporters after Thursday night’s debate in Miami that he thinks “perhaps she made the story up.” The campaign issued a statement Thursday calling the allegations “entirely false.”
