Hillary Clinton is projected Tuesday to win the Democratic Alabama primary, according to CNN and Fox News.

That result is in line with TPM’s Polltracker Average, which showed Clinton leading Sanders 73 percent to 21 percent.

Turnout had been expected to reach record highs among the state’s more than 3 million registered voters, according to AL.com. Alabama voters do not register with a particular political party, but a recent poll found that those who identify as Democrats typically are “certain” about who they are voting for going into the primary.

Clinton visited the state five times as part of her Super Tuesday campaign, during which she defended President Obama’s record, and Former President Bill Clinton also visited the state to campaign on her behalf.
