New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said Sunday that Obamacare is a “trainwreck” and that President Obama needs to be honest with the American people when it comes to the health care law.

“When you make a mistake, you should own up to it and apologize for it,” Christie said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” about the way Obama handled his apology regarding the cancelations of individual health insurance plans.

Christie said that the American people appreciate honesty.

“They give you credit for looking them in the eye and telling them the truth,” Christie added on ABC’s “This Week.” “Whether it’s good news or bad news, I tell folks in New Jersey the truth.”
