An Arizona gun activist whipped out neon-green water pistol during an appearance Sunday on a local political news show to demonstrate that gun regulations are powerless against people who have “a mind to do something evil.”
“Let me give you an example,” Charles Heller of the Arizona Citizens’ Defense League said about four minutes into his appearance on “Politics Unplugged” on Phoenix-based KTVK. “On the front door of this studio, there’s a sign that says ‘No weapons.’ Now, I never do demonstrations with live guns, so I’m not going to pull out anything dangerous. But I’m going to show you something.”
Heller then reached into his shirt and pulled out the toy gun.
“If a person had a mind do something evil in here, and there was one of those signs,” he said, “how would the sign stop them from bringing something in?”
Heller appeared on the program to speak in support of Arizona Senate Bill 2320, which would permit gun owners with concealed-carry licenses to bring firearms into libraries, sports venues, and other public spaces.

Anyone notice that Mr. Heller seems to fetishize the police…for a moment there I thought he was wearing a police uniform.
Vato, that’s a gooood way to git capped!
Did Bill 'Reilly just see pictures of the squirt gun or was his life in mortal peril?
Funny how these gun strokers all fancy themselves as vigilante heroes when all I ever see are small men who feel inadequate. I wouldn’t want any of these wannabe cops “protecting” me.
I just want to scream “No more of this guns-everywhere shit!”, but they’d probably shoot me.
