Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Thursday that those who think he should drop out of the Republican presidential race just need to “take a chill pill.”
During an interview with NBC, Bush was asked what he would say to the people who think he should suspend his bid for the presidency.
“I would say first of all not a single delegate has been selected. We haven’t even gone to the first primary yet,” he said. “I would say take a chill pill, let the democracy work, let people go see who the candidates are, what their record is, what detailed plans they have.”
Bush has polled lower than expected so far in the 2016 race and is widely considered to have been outperformed by other candidates at the GOP debates. He also garnered just 2.8 percent of the votes in Monday’s Iowa caucuses.
“We got a long way to go,” he told NBC. “I know that we’re living in the tyranny of the press where everything has to be done in the next hour or something like that. I trust the voters to decide this, not the pundits.”

What’s next? “Talk to the hand”?
Haters? Really? That would require emotion on some level…
I actually feel sorry for the poor boob.
He can’t seem to realize that, after his brother, he couldn’t run against Hitler and win. GW so poisoned the Bush name, that no one with the name will ever be able to run for a national office for at least 50 years.
Go home, Jeb, you do not have a dog in this fight.
I hate it when nerds use outdated slang and think they’re hip.
I’m thinkin’ dubya double-dog dared Jeb to run… if for nothing else, to make dub look good by comparison.
