Bill O’Reilly barely hid his frustration with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday night after Palin slammed him as a “quasi-conservative” a day earlier.

The Fox host was responding to Palin’s suggestion on “Hannity” that O’Reilly was a “quasi-conservative” for not taking her seriously as a contender for 2016 in promos for an upcoming episode of “The O’Reilly Factor.”

“He names ’em off, he says, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin—oh, what a reality show that would be, yuck, yuck,” Palin complained.

“So here’s the deal,” O’Reilly said slowly, with a deep breath after rolling the clip. “In TV land, where I live, you tease upcoming segments with flamboyant descriptions, so people will sit through the 18 minutes of commercials and watch it.”

O’Reilly’s staff could be heard laughing in the background.

“Mrs. Palin and Donald Trump are very high profile folks,” he continued, “and both have starred in reality TV shows!”

With that, O’Reilly delivered his “Tip of the Day.”

“If no offense is intended, don’t take offense,” O’Reilly said with a snarl. “Your life will be happier.”
