Minnesota Vikings All-NFL running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted on child injury charges in Texas, according to multiple reports.
Mark Berman of Fox 26 in Houston first reported that Peterson had been indicted for reckless or negligent injury to a child. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported that Peterson would turn himself in.

Montgomery County is north of Houston and includes The Woodlands, where Peterson has a home, according to WDAY.

The Associated Press reported that Peterson had turned himself in early Saturday morning and since been released.
Montgomery County? He’s going to do some time. Especially with Rusty Hardin (of Anna Nicole Smith fame) as attorney of record.

BREAKING NEWS: Roger Goodell just handed Peterson a 35-minute suspension. But in accordance with new league rules, Peterson will NOT be paid for those 35 minutes.
