Rubio Leads By Double Digits In Latest Florida Senate Poll

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) comes out 10 points ahead of Democratic challenger Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-FL) in a new poll of the U.S. Senate election in Florida from Bloomberg/Selzer & Company.

Rubio leads the poll of likely Florida voters, 51-41.

Though Bloomberg/Selzer shows a distant lead for the incumbent, other polls, such as the recent release from CBS/YouGov, show narrower margins, with Rubio just two points ahead, 44-42, among likely voters in the swing state.

The Bloomberg poll was conducted Oct. 21-24 by Selzer & Co. among 953 likely Florida voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.2 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for the U.S. Senate race in Florida shows Rubio leading Murphy, 48.8 to 42.3.
