Hassan comes out one point ahead, 47-46, with Libertarian candidate Brian Chabot following at 4 percent among likely New Hampshire voters.

The Democratic challenger took the lead from the incumbent senator since UMass Lowell/7News last polled the race in October, when Ayotte led by one points, 45-44.

The UMass Lowell/7News poll was conducted Oct. 28-Nov. 2 among 695 likely New Hampshire voters via live telephone interview, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.28 percent.
