Hillary Clinton comes out of the second presidential debate five points ahead of Donald Trump nationally, according to a new poll from Morning Consult/Politico.

Clinton leads the head-to-head race, 46-41 among likely voters nationally. She maintains a five-point lead, 42-37, when third-party candidates are included, with Libertarian Gary Johnson behind at 10 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 3 percent.

The new poll shows Clinton expanding her lead slightly since the last Morning Consult/Politico poll, conducted after the publication of tapes revealing Trump’s disturbing comments about women but before the second presidential debate.

In that poll, Clinton led by four points, 45-41 in a head-to-head match, and again by four points, 42-38, in a four-way match, with Johnson at 8 percent and Stein at 3 percent.

The Morning Consult/Politico poll was conducted online on Oct. 10 among 1,757 likely voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus two percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for the national general election shows Clinton leading Trump, 49.6 to 40.3.
