After a week of negative news for Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton’s lead remained unchanged nationally, at 7 points, in the latest Ipsos/Reuters tracking poll release.

The latest installment of the tracking poll was conducted over five days, beginning the day before the Washington Post’s release of a tape showing Trump’s crude comments about women and ending the day after the second presidential debate.

Clinton leads the head-to-head match, 44-37, among likely voters nationwide.

She maintains the same lead, 44-37, in a race including third-party candidates, with Libertarian Gary Johnson following at 6 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 2 percent.

Clinton held the same lead, 44-37, in a head-to-head match among likely voters in last week’s Ipsos/Reuters tracking poll. Her lead in the four-way match has slightly increased since last week, when Clinton led 42-36, with Johnson at 8 percent and Stein at 2 percent.

The Ipsos/Reuters tracking poll was conducted online from Oct. 6-10 among 2,363 likely voters nationally, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.3 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for the national general election shows Clinton leading Trump, 48.1 to 39.7.
