A criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia is ramping up as prosecutors are set to seek subpoenas for documents and witnesses related to their investigation of the former president.
This is one of the most concerning installments yet in the much-too-early-but-inevitable political musings about 2024.

There’s a lot included in the sprawling voting rights legislation that the House passed Wednesday. But one big thing is missing: a restoration of the Voting Rights Act. The law has been hobbled since the Supreme Court struck down in 2013 the key formula that determined which states need to get election policy changes pre-approved due to their past records of discriminating against minority voters.
