President Donald Trump is cool as a cucumber amid the turmoil of the past 48 hours, if you take it from press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

When asked Wednesday if Trump was worried about the frequently teased information Michael Cohen could offer special counsel Robert Mueller, Sanders maintained that he was serene in the conviction of his innocence.

“I don’t think the President is concerned at all,” she said. “He knows that he did nothing wrong and that there was no collusion and we’re going to continue focusing on things that Americans care about and that we can have an impact on.”

  1. She’s speaking to Trump’s base here, feeding their narrative that Trump is innocent and it’s a witch hunt. These statements aren’t going to sit very well with people who aren’t under Trump’s spell…slowly they are going to realize that Cohen and Trump conspired together to silence these women before the election, and that it was an illegal action. That’s going to temper Trump’s support, and hopefully drag the Republicans that won’t stand up to him down with him.

Yes, it should have happened already, which is disappointing…maybe America just needs this kind of depravity thrown in our faces to realize that the Republicans are ruining the nation, it’s not just partisanship, and they need to get tossed out until they clean up their act.
