The President was golfing again in South Florida Thursday, a couple days after throwing Congress into chaos by panning a mammoth government funding and stimulus bill after both sides had negotiated it.

Trump’s golf outing in Florida came despite an unusual note on the otherwise-blank public White House schedule for Thursday.

“As the Holiday season approaches, President Trump will continue to work tirelessly for the American People,” the White House said. “His schedule includes many meetings and calls.”

It’s not clear what sorts of calls Trump is making — perhaps those regarding yet another day of doling out pardons for politically-connected friends and allies.

But the talks don’t seem to be about the funding bill Trump trashed. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), chair of the Senate Republican Policy Committee, told reporters Thursday morning that he had “no idea what [Trump] plans to do” with the legislation.
