Rep. Steve King (R-IA), a staunch opponent of ACORN, is now taking on the new White House Counsel Bob Bauer — saying he has a “hardcore gangster government persona” and “a public image that is a junkyard dog.”
The only question, then, is whether Bauer will frame this quote and put it on his wall.
“If you wanted a White House counsel to get in their face, Bob Bauer would be your guy. It fits the Rahm persona. It fits the Chicago, hardcore gangster government persona,” King told the right-wing CNSNEWS. “He had the chance to pick someone with a different attitude, a different persona and a different public image. But he picked someone with a public image that is a junkyard dog.”
King has previously accused the Obama administration of appointing Bauer in a nefarious effort to cover up their connections to ACORN.
