What does Karl Rove think of the Tea Party movement? Novices! And unsophisticated novices, at that.

This morning, Rove spoke to MSNBC about the reports of racist and homophobic language at last weekend’s anti-health care reform rallies in Washington, DC.Rove said:

This Tea Party movement is largely novices, relatively politically unsophisticated people. And as a result, sometimes their rhetoric is raw and angry.

Rove then compared the Tea Party movement to the anti-war movement in the 1960s and the Civil Rights movement.
