At the press conference, his doctor revealed that the mayor’s treatment would involve a nearly-toxic chemical cocktail followed by an extended period of recuperation.
Or as Rob Ford calls it, a weekend.
Does he become a more sympathetic figure if it’s brain cancer?
Yeah, the jokes aren’t funny anymore; now he’s just pathetic and sad.
It’s actually, for lack of a better term, fat cancer. Rare, and has some 60 varieties, but the one he has doesn’t have the greatest survival rate.
Yet even with news as bad as this, the Fords can’t help but lie. Monday Rob told a reporter he had a lung biopsy. The doctor at the presser said straight out that wasn’t true. Ford had a second biopsy, but it was on his buttocks, behind his hip.
The surgeon also shot down the story told by the Fords that Rob had a small tumor removed from his colon a few years back. What he actually had removed was an inflamed section of colon caused by the Mayor’s appendicitis.
I don’t want Rob Ford to go away dead. I just want him to go away.
It might be the cure to Toronto’s cancer.
