House Democrats will take action on the floor this week to condemn anti-Semitism, a vote designed to confront Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) language in her latest criticisms of Israel, which has been widely considered anti-Semitic.

The resolution doesn’t name Omar specifically — a point of internal dispute for Democrats, according to Politico — but outlines the history of anti-Semitism in the U.S. Omar was slammed by senior Jewish lawmakers over the weekend when she referred to pro-Israel advocates as having an “allegiance to a foreign country.”
