Dan Bongino, the former Secret Service agent turned pro-Trump pundit, will no longer have a show on NRATV, the National Rifle Association’s streaming video channel, the Daily Beast first reported Monday.
Two unnamed sources “with knowledge of the decision” told the Daily Beast that Bongino had been dropped from NRATV. Bongino, though he did not respond to a request for comment for the story, responded on Twitter quickly after it was published, saying he had decided not to accept NRATV’s offer to renew with his show, “We Stand.”
This story is absolutely untrue and the “reporter” knows it. He texted me on Friday, after hearing I DECLINED A GENEROUS RENEWAL OFFER, this “Heard you didn’t renew with NRATV.” Yet, he lied & wrote I was “dropped” and liberal imbeciles immediately ran with it. This is fake news. https://t.co/XpSKFmxAcc

The Daily Beast stood by its reporting.
I am trying to unwind nothing. @lachlan and I stand by everything that was published in the story.
There is only one person online tweeting about this story who sounds like they’re melting down.

Bongino’s show lasted just a few months. The commentator, who unsuccessfully ran for Congress three times, is known for his at times explosive anger.
He shot his wad.
Down-sizing at the NRA? Sad.
Any coincidence that his name almost rhymes with Butina?
As opposed to Trump, who is known for his explosive diarrhea.
Guess they found someone to fill his slot who would work for free. NRA ain’t exactly flush these days.
