Oprah Winfrey addressed the racist robocall that was circulating about her in Georgia ahead of the governor’s race, for which she has been campaigning for Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams.

“I heard people were making racist robocalls in my name, against Stacey Abrams, who I am 100 percent for in Georgia,” Winfrey said in an Instagram post. “I just want to say, Jesus don’t like ugly. And we know what to do about that: vote.”

The blatantly racist robocall claims, “This is the magical negro, Oprah Winfrey, asking you to make my fellow negress, Stacey Abrams, governor of Georgia.”

“Years ago, the Jews who own the American media saw something in me: the ability to trick dumb white women into thinking I was like them,” the voice continues. “I see that same potential in Stacey Abrams.”

Republican candidate Brian Kemp condemned the calls, which were recorded by a white nationalist.
