First lady Melania Trump offered a veiled critique of her husband’s most criticized characteristic during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Wednesday evening.
“I give my husband advice and my honest opinion, sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn’t,” she said. “I don’t agree with his tone sometimes and I tell him that.”
She said she occasionally weighs in on his tweets as well, telling him when she thinks he doesn’t “need to tweet that out.”
“But in the end it’s his decision,” she added. “He knows the consequences and he is an adult, but he is a fighter.”
