Democratic leadership is meeting with President Trump Tuesday morning for the first time since the infamous televised meeting during the government shutdown where Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) engaged in a cringe-worthy tit-for-tat with President Trump over his pet project border wall.

“I hope he has learned his lesson” Pelosi told her party leadership on Monday evening, regarding whether the huddle would be televised like last time. Politico Playbook reported on Tuesday that the meeting would be closed to the press.

The three are set to discuss proposals for a sweeping infrastructure bill. The discussion will serve as a test of whether the trio can reach a bipartisan agreement in the age of House Democrats’ investigations into Trump, his administration and his personal finances.
