Fox News staffers who pre-cleared interview topics with former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt will be disciplined, the network announced Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

The Daily Beast, reporting based on a public records request from the Sierra Club, revealed Tuesday that Fox News staff provided pre-interview questions and scripts to Pruitt’s office ahead of time, seeking the government’s approval before Fox News hosts read the material on-air.

Responding to the report, a network spokesperson said: “This is not standard practice whatsoever and the matter is being addressed internally.”
