Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy took issue with President Donald Trump’s word choice this weekend when he called his former fixer, Michael Cohen, a “rat.”

Trump tweeted incessantly about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, among other things, this weekend and has ramped up the attacks on Cohen who was sentenced to three years in jail last week.

If McCarthy isn’t careful, the don is going to have a wiseguy rub him out.

Many a capo would love to get the contract.

Before he knows it he’ll be sleeping with the fishes.

That comparison is insulting to mobsters. They’re more disciplined.

Fox News finally noticed that interesting lingo that Donald uses.

Remember how he thought that Al Capone was jailed by silly tax evasion charges? The unusual affinity for crooks, much like the affinity for Putin, has been out there awhile.

Suddenly they are going to be shocked, just shocked they tell you, when Donnie is exposed as a crook.

  5. Trump has directly accused convicted felons of cooperating with the FBI, either to reduce their sentences, or because they’re somehow duped or tricked into doing so via illegal methods employed during their investigation and questioning. Their cooperation however is based on falsehoods he says, they’re not guilty of what they’re accused of. The FBI is corrupt, not to be trusted, they’re framing people, or inflating minor infractions into serious felonies.

All this seems to get little notice in the press. The President accusing the main Federal law enforcement agency of being untrustworthy and corrupt. How long before other criminal’s defense attorneys cite the President when defending their clients?

“My client isn’t guilty, the corrupt FBI set him up. The President says they do it all the time. Your honor, do we see the FBI vigorously defending against or denying the President’s accusations? No, we don’t. This witch hunt involving my client needs to stop!”
