On Monday, Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatii teased that he would be revealing a third credible woman with allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh within the next 48 hours.

But, while another allegation establishing Kavanaugh’s treatment of women would likely help the Democrats’ case, they seem wary of the celebrity lawyer and his spotlight-hogging tactics.

According to a Monday Politico report, Democrats are having a much easier time rallying behind Kavanaugh’s first two accusers, professor Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez.

With Ramirez, who was intoxicated at the time of the alleged episode and does not clearly remember everything, they acknowledge the gaps in her recollection but see her story as valuable in revealing a pattern of Kavanaugh’s attitude towards women and heightening the need for an FBI investigation.

In addition, Democrats had already rallied vocally behind Blasey Ford.

They seem much less inclined to get on board with Avenatti’s mystery woman, the identity of whom he has kept veiled while tweeting tantalizing nuggets of the case.

“You know I never have no comment, but I have no comment about Michael Avenatti,” Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) told Politico.

“Until we have more information, there’s not much that anyone can do with that,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) added. “But since there are two women who have come forward – they have made credible claims, they have made their names public – it now means that the FBI should be conducting a full investigation.”

“If he has something to introduce, he should do it now,” Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) told Politico. “I haven’t had any contact with him.”

Avenatti has tweeted and posted screenshots indicating that he is representing a woman with “credible information” about Kavanaugh and his accused accomplice in the alleged sexual assault against Blasey Ford, Mark Judge.
