Bradley Manning, the U.S. soldier accused of providing classified information to Wikileaks, deferred his plea on Thursday to 22 counts, including aiding the enemy, the Associated Press reports. Manning also deferred a choice of whether to be tried by a military jury or just a judge. The charges Manning faces could carry a maximum penalty of life in prison.
