White House: No Announcement Of Imminent Strike In Obama Statement

A White House official confirmed that President Obama will not announce an imminent military action when he speaks from the Rose Garden Saturday afternoon. His statement will update the public on ongoing deliberations, per TPM’s Sahil Kapur.

WH official confirms POTUS remarks today won’t be about imminent military action in Syria, but rather an update on his decisions going fwd.
