Fox News and CNN projected that real estate mogul Donald Trump won Tuesday’s Republican primary in Nebraska.

Trump took all 36 delegates up for grabs in the winner-take-all state.

While Trump spent little time campaigning in Nebraska, he drew some 3,500 supporters during an appearance in Omaha this week alongside Gov. Pete Ricketts (R).

A Trump victory was no surprise given his standing as the last candidate in the GOP race, but Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) suggested Tuesday that a win in the state could prod him into re-entering the race.

Asked by conservative radio host Glenn Beck what a Nebraska win would mean to him, Cruz said that he would “respond accordingly” if he sees a “path to victory” emerge again.

  1. Well, I guess we won’t have Ted Cruz to kick around again.

  2. Avatar for meta meta says:

Trump wins with 26.52% Nebraska voter turnout.

Primary elections are the devil. Word up.
