Donald Trump suggested in an Instagram video released Monday that fellow GOP candidate Jeb Bush may be high.

The short video hinges on a comment made by Bush during the Republican presidential debate last week, when he talked about smoking marijuana as a teenager.

“Forty years ago I smoked marijuana, and I admit it,” Bush told the audience, responding to Sen. Rand Paul’s (KY) criticism that Republicans want to criminalize recreational marijuana use though some of them have used the drug themselves.

Trump’s attack video cycled through clips of Bush saying he would have authorized the invasion of Iraq and calling illegal immigration an “act of love.” It culminated with Bush’s statement about smoking weed, then cut to a screen asking, “Are we sure it was only forty years ago?”

The video was posted with the caption: “Jeb has been confused for forty years.”

Trump has released other Instagram videos attacking his GOP rival for making sympathetic statements about undocumented immigrants, his “low-energy” campaign, and his praise for the Clintons.

The Bush campaign sent a statement to TPM responding to the ad.

“This coming from the candidate who can’t remember the names of our biggest enemies around the world,” wrote Bush spokesperson Allie Brandenburger. “Seems these attacks are running out of steam.”
