Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took another swing at his “low energy” rival, Jeb Bush, on Tuesday in a video showing a person falling asleep while the former Florida governor spoke.
Trump has repeatedly called Bush a “low energy” candidate. Bush had also issued videos that criticized Trump for supposed liberal comments.
Bush released his first TV ad Tuesday in which he touted his conservative track record and vowed that he was not a “self-promoter” — a line that was likely a swipe at Trump.
In response, Trump’s campaign posted a video to Instagram in the style of a bad infomercial. It promoted “Jeb for all your sleeping needs” for those who have trouble sleeping at night and those who have too much energy and need some “low energy.”
The video had a caption that read: “Wake up Jeb supporters!”
In the video, Bush was speaking at what appeared to be a campaign rally. An attendee of the event could be seen sleeping in the background.
Watch the video:
While he’s at it, Trump should make an ad promoting himself that ends with the voiceover “WAKE UP WHITE PEOPLE!”
I hear Daniel Carver is available.
Yeh. Ol’ Jebba really knows how to hold the crowds’ attention…judging from all the wandering and sleeping eyes.
Credit where it’s due, that is actually pretty funny.
Well that’s my reaction…another bush? Yawn!
I thought it was BUSH sleep(walk)ing.
