A new Instagram video from GOP frontrunner Donald Trump posted Monday attempts to draw a connection between former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s “thoughts on illegal immigrants” and murders allegedly committed by undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

The short rehashes Bush’s much-maligned “act of love” remark from April about undocumented immigrants entering the U.S. illegally as a means of providing for their children.

The ad cuts between Bush and mugshots of Francisco Sanchez, Santana Ganona, and Brian Omar Hyde, all of whom are undocumented immigrants linked to high profile murders in recent months.

“LOVE? FORGET LOVE [sic] IT’S TIME TO GET TOUGH!” the ad booms.

This is no “act of love” as Jeb Bush said…

  1. Yawn. Obama has increased the percentage of deportations of criminal by something crazy like 90% over what Bush was achieving. You won’t see that fucking statistic anywhere near the MSM’s reporting.

  2. Avatar for imkmu3 imkmu3 says:

…and if you do it will be a pro immigrant group screaming that Obama has increased the percentage of deportations. (Heard that several times on NPR.)

  3. Obama isn’t running again. No one cares what his numbers are anymore. Sad but true.

The GOP thinks it’s running against the current administration. The current administration has been successful beyond reason in the face of obstruction. The current administration is attempting to enforce the laws that are on the books, despite repeated attempts by Congress to shrink the size of government and then complain about how nothing is getting done or with repeated obstructions against funding programs it has an ideological conflict with (meaning, Obama supports it) and then complain about how nothing is getting done.

Funny, isn’t it, that the only consistent thread for the opposition is complaining about how nothing is getting done when they seem to be behind a whole lot of the inaction?

  4. I wonder if the RNC has started drafting a new autopsy for the 2016 election results?

  5. Well so much for Trump ignoring Bush…

You know its been bantered that Trump is a novice this and a novice that. That aside, though he is a novice, he waves that ‘bloody shirt’ rather well.
