GOP frontrunner Donald Trump told reporters during a Thursday press conference that he was glad fellow candidate Carly Fiorina will be participating in the next Republican debate.

Thanks to CNN’s recent rule change, candidates who have surged in recent weeks will now be allowed to join the main debate. As of now, the Sept. 16 debate could feature 11 candidates.

“I think 11 people is a lot,” Trump said. But, he insisted, Fiorina “deserved to be in the debate.”
