James Holmes, the suspected shooter of an Aurora, Colorado movie theater early Friday morning, attended Westview High School in San Diego, California. Tina McDowell, a spokeswoman for Poway Unified School District’s Superintendent, John Collins, confirmed to TPM that Holmes graduated Westview in 2006.
“On behalf of the Poway Unified School District, Superintendent [John] Collins joins the rest of the nation in offering our deepest condolences to the victims and their families,” PUSD’s statement read.
